"A luxury hair treatment clinically proven to instantly correct years of damage. Hair becomes automatically stronger, softer, and more moisturized."
I got a 1.7 oz sample size of this in my first Beauty Army box and let me just say LOVE it.
I really didn't have high hopes of what this product would do for me because it's geared more towards damaged hair. I do not have damaged hair. I actually have pretty healthy hair. I have never dyed it in all my almost 30 years. The only time I put any chemicals in was years and years ago (probably like 15ish) and that was a straightener which was not my brightest idea and I would not suggest it. It broke my hair off bad.
Back to the review... since I don't have what I consider to be damaged hair I didn't expect much but wow... this product delivers. I had been using WEN since I had gotten a deluxe sample of it awhile back but WEN is sooo extremely bad with product buildup for me and it kind of makes my hair crunchy and dry. I didn't have that problem at all with Revitaluxe. My hair is bouncy, soft, shiny and no buildup.
I give this product 5 stars and i'm definitely interested in checking out the other Joico products. It's a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. You can get a 16.2 oz on amazon for $34.50*. The small sample lasted me 4 washes (using a healthy amount for my thick hair) so you could probably get a good 40 washes out of a 16 oz bottle. I would say it would last about 3-5 months because you definitely don't have to use it daily. I really don't suggest you even wash your hair daily unless you just have to.
So, have you tried this product? What do you think of it if you have or do you think you might give it a try if you haven't?
**Note.. amazon prices change frequently so the pricing may be higher/cheaper depending on when you view it**

Looks like a great product, must check it out! I am currently in love with Andrew Barton products, as they make my hair feel so shiny and smooth.
ReplyDeleteAnd if "years of damage" corresponds to many unsuccessful attempts to make my hair curl easily, I am probably going to buy this!

I really am liking it. I've been excited about the way my hair looks the past week. haha
DeleteI enjoy attacking my hair on a daily basis with a flat iron, so this might just apply to me. I've been dying to try Joico products (from their K-Pak line) but can't seem to convince myself to shell out $17 for conditioner, although I'm loving my argan oil these days.

Yeah, they are definitely a little pricy. I'm not sure I would have ever tried it myself if I hadn't had a sample. Now that I know I love it I feel a little better about shelling out the money. I'm interesting in trying out some more of their products but would like to get my hands on some samples first.
DeleteThank you so much for the follow via the Blog Hop :) New follower :)
ReplyDeleteI have pretty dry, wavy hair. I'd have to try this. You are so lucky you haven't dyed your hair! I started messing with my hair when I was 13 years old. So all those years of chemical treatment has taken it's toll. I'll have to try this out. I've seen this in Allure and wanted to try. I'll let you know how it goes :)
xo
I have natural auburn hair which when I was a kid/teenager I wanted to dye it because it was so different but my mom would never let me. I'm glad she didn't now. As an adult I actually like my hair color. :)
DeleteDefinitely let me know how it works for you if you give it a try.
