Laura Mercier Foundation Primer creates a smooth, invisible layer that acts as a "buffer" to outside elements and expertly holds foundation. This water-based formula guarantees that your makeup stays fresh and color-true for hours. With vitamins A, C, and E added to protect the skin, Foundation Primer is ideal for all skin types.
With my dry skin I just about have to have a foundation primer, even with cream/liquid foundations. Because of this I have tried loads of primers and this primer has been the best as of yet. I love it. It not only helps my dry skin problems but it also helps keep my foundation on until I'm ready to take it off. This product is also lightweight so I have no problems with it feeling too heavy with my foundation.
I do not find this primer to be oily like a lot of primers out there so I do believe it would be good for oily skin types as well.
What I also love about foundation primer and this tip works for most all primers is putting it in the refrigerator, the coolness helps reduce puffiness and is also refreshing for a quick summertime facial massage. :)
I give this product 5 stars!
Have you tried this product? Do you use foundation primer?

I haven't tried this one. I've been using the MUFE one and I like it. I agree if you have dry skin a primer is must to help stop skin from looking flaky!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried the MUFE one and yes definitely primer is a must for those of us with dry skin.

Hiya Melissa I found your blog on the blog hop & I'm now following you. I hope you'll take a minute to hop over to my blog. I'very only tried a couple of things from Laura mercier. Its just their products are fairlypricey, but this primer looks good. I've had really dry skin since I had my little girl & this might be good for me x :-)
ReplyDeleteHer product line is definitely pricey but i'm willing to pay for something if it really works for me and a primer is one of those things that is needed for my dry skin otherwise it looks like a flaky mess.
DeleteI will definitely drop by your blog and thanks for following mine. :)

Yeah, I would never be able to get away without using primer because my face would just be flaky looking, esp around the nose. The fridge trick is great because it's just so refreshing.
